My entry into VCP-36… Anyone up for a little 12 bar blues??
At the end of the video Burst is soloed and uptempoed (yeah, that’s a word).

Burst N2 Space!
Here is my entry to vcp-36. I enjoyed doing this and I could easily use Re-Burst three times in this simple composition. Re-Burst will be one of my favorites going forward.

I felt really comfortable doing this and I hope some of you like it!

Wonderfully imaginative.

This week I have two entries. This first one was a bit of an afterthought. I’m not really using the re-burst that much, though it does give things a glitchier effect.
Mostly this one is about feedback, a difficult issue to deal with and something I’ve been thinking about a bit recently:

Here’s the patch:

The other one will be along later.

I like this a lot, dag. You always come up with some great sounds and great techniques.

The promised second patch:

I tried using re-Burst on the hihat but it was a bit too busy.

Slow and mellow ambient with wind chime driven leads. Chimes created by Elements and Clouds adds shimmer effect. Bass is created with XFX Wave and Basal. Re-Burst from Repelzen gates the chimes.

Wind Chime Crime…

My contribution to the Very Cool Patch Challenge 36. Once again too late, apparently the VCV recorder does not work. As soon as I want to record a video, it consumes over 90% CPU. Does anyone else have this problem? There was no problem with another program. Once again, I did not just use the default module re-burst, but all repelzen modules. And 9 re-burst modules carry the whole piece. :metal::sunglasses:

Hi, Mega late… I didn’t have enough time during my Holidays… but here it is!

An attempt to make generative music using burst generators as events controller. I’ve put here 4 instances of re-burst provided by wiqid for vcv rack and put them in series. Each one is clocked differently. The “end of cycle” output of each instance trigs the burst input of another in a closed circuit. I then have just to “burst” once manually and let all that stuff play. I just play with volumes of the four different voices. Three additive OSC’s for drones and bleak for percussive sounds. REPburn.vcv (70.8 KB)

Enjoy and have a nice whatever you want.

Very nice. Melody from wavetable could follow the chord progression a bit better and stay not so often the fundamentals, but it’s still OK. it sounds a bit drunk :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

nice progression, those underlying bass tones:) like that sea-life vid, too;)

thanks everyone for your contributions! i’m glad re-burst has triggered your creativity!
