VCV rack VST Plugin?

I thought that VCV were planning to create a plugin that we can use in our DAW. I know there’s the VCV host. Is there any news on that/estimated release date?

The tentative release plan for Rack v2 and Rack for DAWs is the following. By “wait”, I mean “ensure that a certain amount of time passes before the next step”. Continue working on Rack v2 and Rack for DAWs. Once both are “alpha” quality, release Rack v2 source code. Wait at least 4 weeks while testers and plugin developers review the code. I’ve given up waiting at this poiint. The only ETA we’ve had was last February and the Rack dev blog isnt getting updated all that often. I guess one day it might get released and that will be a nice surprise but in the meantime I have to focus on alternatives for VST.

Andrew has a Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/vortico) where he mostly plays Runescape but sometimes talks about VCV. There was a fairly long discussion a while ago. Unfortunately he doesn’t appear to save his VODs. He was talking about the plugin version coming out next year so it’s definately going to be a wait.
