do i have to manage the plugins in linux when i have a windows version (like subscribe etc.) how can i get updates in linux

It works just the same, sign into your account in Rack and your modules should start downloading automatically. You can use your account on multiple platforms but you would need to subscribe to the plugin for it to be in your version of Rack.
