Ubuntu 18 works fine

I usually use Ubuntu 16 for Rack, and I couldn’t get 17 to work when I once tried it. But Ubuntu 18 works just fine. I followed the normal build instructions and had no issues.

You can get support for building Rack by posting the terminal output on GitHub.

Which Desktop Manager are you using? The default one does not start Rack maximized on 18.04 (issue).

I had an issue on my latest release. My plugin compiled without warning on Ubuntu 18’s default compiler, but had a compilation error when the Rack folks tried to do the official build on Ubuntu 16 for the plugin manager. So I’m now reluctant to build on a platform other than the one used for the official builds.

I just use all the default. And now that you mention it I think it notice it not maximized.

that makes a lot of sense.
