Thoughts on miRack

Hey I’ve been interested in VCV rack for about a year now and experimented with creating some modules myself. I’d recently thought about attempting to compile for iOS and wondered if anyone else had, then I found miRack https://www.musictech.net/news/mirack-modular-ipad-synth/

Has any one used it? Is it any good? What are thoughts on paying for it. It seems a little off to me to be charging $9.99 for what seems like a thin wrapper around a free/ open source project?

I’m still interested in buying it just wanted to know if it’s worth!

I’d recommend a quick search for “miRack” - and maybe give Postmortem on Rack's GPL relicensing a quick read.

there’s some ill-will between miRack and others, including developers whose modules are included in miRack, and hopefully giving a quick read will help you understand why.
