do any adsrs emulate the flat top of the minimoog? the one in my Kitchen Sink does, but you can’t get it out of there…
Presets are absolutely possible. The 8Face module from @stoermelder is what you need. I used it to add presets to my ARP Odyssey reconstruction. (I can’t take credit of this - I saw it on another patch, can’t remember who).
I agree this deserves it’s own thread.
Hello,
Question about thé module Q173. I can’t find the way to use the Source mode, options #1 and PREV. I tried many ways of selecting everything, and that doesn’t work for me. Even using the documentation of course.
Did Someone tested that? Thanks. Alain
Looked at this :
And indeed that does not work.
EXTRA INFO, as soon as you select source #1 for program number 2 it will set itself to 0 (Off).
Thank you for this confirmation. And by the way, these videos from dotcom are really clear and so interesting!
Alain
is it good enough to raise this issue here, maybe call on @modlfo
I spent some frustrating time with this module and gave up thinking I was too dumb for the module interface
I ran out of time to implement the behavior of the SOURCE. But you can find the options in the right-click menu under the “Global Settings” section:
I will fix it on a future release.
Another thing that is missing from the hardware module are the “Bonus Features” specified in the manual.
« Bonus » was my next question
Thank you! Alain
Hi Dave. I felt I’d finished, so thought there was nothing left in the ‘project’. But maybe there’s life in it yet by investigating closer sonic emulation rather than just making a module routing emulation… Do you know how I can move the branch to a new thread?
A forum admin can do this. But I think it would work just as well to simply post a new thread with a link to your first post in this thread. Then also edit your first or last post about the emulator in this thread and add a link to the new thread. So the threads become cross linked, and it is easy to follow.
After checking, I really don’t know how to find something regarding the Source mode in the right click menu. General setting or Out2 (for instance) setting.
But there is no hurry, I can wait the next version… Alain
Hello,
Question about Q173 Gate Math.
I would like to use 4 configurations. The corresponding CV come from Q119A (Sequential controler). I seted up the different voltages in step 1, 2, 3, 4, to command Config 0, 1, 2, 3 of Gate Math.
Everytime I turn the config button, the sequencer speed up for 2 or 3 steps. Same when a connect the sequence 1 to the In CV config…
An idea? Thank you! Alain Gate Match - Config.vcv (1.8 KB)
I think that even if the configs have the same divider they may not be in phase. So, when you switch from one to the next you could get unusual sounding time as it changes to the new pattern.
This image is just to show the idea, it’s not from your example. If you’re running with the red config then switch to the yellow, you could get a hit earlier or later than expected depending on when you switch.
