overdramatic and click-baity. sure, there’s a trend for less melody. but trends come and go. and if you don’t like it, then don’t follow the trend. more music is being put out than ever before. certainly some of it is to your taste.
he even mentions other times when melody was declared dead or dying, but it always came back. this trend too will turn around, and the cycle will continue.
