Would love to test this too. So pumped.
ah tape machine manipulations are some fun indeed, . remains me of my friends band from Montreal in the 90s call Exhaust see; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pS0l_GjXZYI seems they have a bandcamp here; https://exhaust.bandcamp.com/ the ‘tape guy’ used an old real-to-real to scratch the audiotape.
Btw, will source code be available ?
At the moment, I haven’t made a decision on making the module open source, free or paid. I’m thinking about 2 versions:
- an open source version with basic functionality
- a paid version with additional features like editing the recorded audio on a timeline
The other question is were to send my money?
I’m actually working on that featrue, so stay tuned!
I need this in my rack, fast! Thanks
As I said above, I plan to release within June 2020.
great! … very impressive n interesting!
… this is my android skin in KLWP costume, based on OP-1 … (only so marginally)
Any news ?
hopefully soon.
no tape machine
Sorry, not this time.
I think, someone else did the job already.
but the Nysthi module is only an expander for Nysthi samplers,
would your module be different?
My module can record an play back audio, so it’s a sampler too. If you expect tape saturation, there are other modules like ChowTape by chowdsp or Tape by Rackwindows that do a good job on effects like this.
how far along did yours get? Different versions of the same idea are valuable.
I’m pretty sure, the NYSTHI Module in combination with Simpliciter and confusingSimpler provides more functionality.
Let’s see how many people are demanding my module.
