well, for sure, at least having your stuff work with your own stuff is a pretty reasonable expectation 
I can assure you that with most lines of stuff you will find it works. Impromptu stuff works with most anything.
VCV has some great stuff, but it is unfortunate that they don’t fix bugs very often. I think they have too much to do.
