Saving midi mapping

Hello all,

I recently made a preset for my LIVID DS1. It took quite a while to make it all work. I saved it as a selection to come back to it later. When I imported the selection into another project, all the mapping shows but they’re not saved. I’m not sure if this is related to Patch Master and will need to troubleshoot deeper but I wanted to know if there known issues related to saving this kind of mapping as a selection.

Sad to say this is still a requested need in the feature set of Patchmaster as far as I know.

But with Stoermelder Strip and the Strip+ expander those can save your setup as a selection with midi mapping intact and you can load that selection from the Strip right click menu and insert it in any patch.

Have you tried using presets with MIDI-MAP? (in the right click menu).

Salut @pheek , this is an issue with how Rack imports selections, and is not related to PatchMaster, but as mentioned by @cubistguitar, the mappings will be preserved when the selection is loaded with Strip++ from Stoemelder modules. This is also mentioned in our manual here:

Cheers!

Merci Marc! I will have a look. I’m not a big fan of reading manuals so that sometimes plays tricks on me.

Nice one. I didn’t. Thanks for that. I will test it out.
