Sad to hear this. I have a Dave Smith Prophet '08 in my classic rack enclosure.
Writing as someone who is working on software that manipulates MIDI protocol, I’m deeply grateful to Dave for his cleverness, and I’m considerably shocked and saddened at his demise.
