Probability Modules

Hey Everyone!

I’m really new to Rack and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on good probability modules like the Tiny Tricks “Random Wrangler”? I really enjoy the UI of Random wrangler and its exactly what I want buuuut every time I put it in a patch and save the patch, when I re-open Rack crashes saying the problem is a buggy module. Any thoughts on a solution or a different but similar mod would be greatly appreciated! I’m on Mac, I was using 2.0.4 but updated to 2.0.5 hoping that would solve my problem.

My old LFN has some similarities. It’s been fairly popular over the years. It’s basically white noise run into a graphic EQ, but the bands are a down at one hz, down to very low… the frequencies in Hz are on the knobs. The one on the right is in “super low mode”.

Oh, and, yeah, random wrangler crashes my rack v2 also.

well, good luck. I do hear reports of lots of crashes, sometimes attributed to modules that don’t seem flaky to me (Fundamental, Bogaudio). The v2 LFN works fine for me. The crash stack also doesn’t show any plugin code in the crash. Hard to say what the culprit is. Looks like “someone” is corrupting memory and that’s making patch loading crash.

Not that it matters, but the problem could be in the Squinky plugins or could be somewhere else.
