Regarding your post, I think we have the same approach in mind. Personally, I use a main clock, but before feeding the different instrument process, I use semi-random generators to modify in some way the clock, to give some life to the rhythm. I often use Mystery collection from VULT modules for this. Of course, I use modules which generate Harmonie Mode chords. From there, I control a bass line, arpeggios, layers, piano…
I use almost all the modules you suggested to me in the video presenting harmony modes and their use, within the context of the VCV Rack.
