Plugin version question

Can I use plugins for previous versions in the latest version of VCV Rack, as long as they are the same major version? Like if I want to use FV-1.emu, a 1.0.1 plugin, in VCV Rack version 1.1.6?

Except for the major version (1.x.x) there is no depenceny between plugin version numbering and Rack versions. So, the answer is yes.

Wait, what if the minor version of the plugin is higher than the minor version of VCV Rack?
