Just wanted to say thank you to @Vega for this wonderful Pink Trombone port which I’ve just come across while trying to find a way to make the original version follow midi input. Looking forward to getting my head round it.

Did anyone ever experiment with doing phoneme synthesis with Pink Trombone? I’m toying around with the ideas of using BASICally to do a text phoneme representation to Pink Trombone parameter CV control. I’m not sure how much I could do using just the 6 channel outputs from BASICally. I might have to do some number of parallel BASICally modules.
I’ve done a variety of projects along these lines over the years, including singing.
It’s already been done outside of VCV rack, though I haven’t looked into how complex it would be to port: https://pink-trombone-demos.glitch.me

That is pretty cool, but probably more complex than I want to mess around with. I did my own game engine/ metaverse implementation similar to this about 16 years ago. So, I understand the complexity.
