I use VCV Rack a lot for educational purposes. And loving it. For instance, I’ve set up an uncabled patch of a simple 2 osc synth and will have students patch that in the right way as an exercise.
I’m look ing to make more of these educational patches and it would be great if there was a patch note facility, something that could graphically look like a it of sticky tape with pencil notes on it 
Just a little editable text window that you could place anywhere in the patch and that would appear on mouseover for instance would be so cool.
