For linux users (maybe other platforms as well?) there is an interesting program available from a linuxmusicians user - (partially) physically modelled handpan/Rav drum - LinuxMusicians
It uses csound so I think other platforms should be able to run it.
It is cli (although obviously appears in qjackctl/catia) and it has some really beautiful sounding scales available. I’ve set my keystep to arp mode with hold and Rand order and pressed all the keys at once and have been listening to it evolving for about half an hour now in Golden Arcadia scale. It sounds really good to me.
