Noob question: How do I use MIDI pitch bend info in Rack?

I feel like I must be missing something obvious but I can’t see how to use Midi pitch bend info. The PW output on the Midi module gives +/-5v for a 2 semitone bend but the only pitch input on the basic oscillator is v/oct.

MIDI doesn’t “know” how many semitones you want to bend, so there is no such thing as a 2 semitones bend in there language of MIDI. You can decide how much to bend by using the FM knob in Fundamental VCO, for example. Or you could use the pitch wheel for other purposes that aren’t related to pitch.

Hi!

You can use a VCA, like the Fundamental one, to attenuate the signal, and the tuner from nysthi so you can set the exact amount of pitch bend you like.
