I was messing with quantizing portamento’ed chords, and put a Shortwave recording of Chinese State Radio easy listening music underneath it, and pitched it down to where it was kind of in tune with the synth voices.
Then I discovered that the Chinese Radio through all the processing was pretty compelling on its own.
