I experiment a lot with harmonic circle of 5ths degrees I-VII as 1.0-7.0 volts and melodic scale degrees 1.0-7.0 as 1.0-7.0 volts. My Meander module supports both harmonic and melodic relative degrees input sequencing and chord degree output. I’m not aware of very many modules that support relative degrees. The only one that comes to mind is AaronStatic’s DiatonicCV which supports chord input based on circle of 5ths “degree” I-VII but in the 0.0-6.0 volt range rather than Meander’s 1.0-7.0 range. Actually, Meander uses an octal radix relative degree, allowing an octave indication to be placed after the radix (decimal) point for both chords and melody. The AaronStatic modules have not been updated since 2023, so I’m wanting to ask the community if anyone knows of any other brands and modules that support musical relative degrees for chords and/or melody..Thanks.

Looks like the new Quostate LSystem module is designed for scale degrees. I will explore it when it is in the library.
How would this be used for relative degrees? You mean the Grande SampleDelays module, is that right?

I am finding the Sckitam MarkovSeq to be very useful for both harmony steps I-VII (1-7) sequencing as well as melody scale degree 1st-7th (1-7) sequencing. MarkovSeq has 8 states and transitions so I just use the first 7 transition probability sections. I also am using Stoermelder uMap to dynamically change the MarkovSeq probabilities via Catro/Modulo 8xlfo module as a CV source. I’m actually using 8 instances of the 8xlfo and uMap to drive the Markov Seq. This is for Meander melody sequencing. It is pretty wild but always sound musically good.
