I updated my laptop to the latest v2 and tested it with a patch I run on my desktop machine. The patch is demanding so I figured performance would suffer, and it did, chewing up the CPU at about ~130%. I set the number of threads to 2 instead of the single-core and was amazed at the performance improvement. Usage dropped to ~75%, an impressive drop. Nice work !
