Mouse only auto-pans up, not down.

Hi all,

I have an annoying UI problem that swear I haven’t always had, but I don’t know when it started.

If I have a big patch and need to scroll down, I can click on a module in/out and drag to the top of the screen and VCV Rack will auto-pan upwards so I can find my target. If I do the opposite (auto pan down) I just hit the bottom of the screen and nothing happens. I would love for it to auto-pan in both directions.

I have the VST window floating and maximized with the (Windows) task bar auto-hidden. Any ideas?

Well my horrible suggestion is to do any extensive patch editing in standalone Rack.

[edit] Otherwise, or rather also, open an issue with VCV support.

I just tried in standalone and the scroll wheel works while dragging, so you might try that.

I NEVER tried that I just did and it feels clumsy but, it works. (just to test, don’t have the OP’s problem.)

I’d never tried until I felt bad about my first reply and it popped into my head to try it. Slightly clunky two-fingered coordination to hold left mouse while scrolling the wheel, but works fine on my mouse.

That feels wrong, but it does the job! Sounds like a punchline to a dirty joke.
