seems like grains has some things to fix and improve… will do a tutorial after fixes
patchseq has some upcoming fixes… will wait on that

Thanks, sometimes it might not reach our lord and savior Omri… so we have to learn how new modules work from other sources, like the developers or from other videos…
well there is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ibFyq0jvvw
Maybe I didn’t see it because it was a livestream and I didn’t bother to check the “live” tab yet?
Thank you for the Random Sound module, it is so amazing! ![]()
Random Sound generates up to 16 different sounds in polyphonic mode. However, triggering, randomization and decay seems to be only monophonic, i.e. the channels cannot be controlled independently.
Would it be possible to make these controls polyphonic too?
ya I should do that
I know it’s a bit strange to say, “Wow, the PatchSeq is amazing!”, because Jeremy and I built it. But sometimes I’m too focused on coding and don’t really play with the modules myself. I was just patching some of the sample loading and playback bugs, and had a few “wow” moments. Whomever requested the ability to copy the current patch to all other patches…
good thinking!
Samples aren’t part of the randomization strategies, because they require .. well… samples. And the module doesn’t ship with samples. However, if people are interested, I could provide a way for users to specify a special folder for samples which would be used only during patch randomization.
Now might be a good time to mention: https://buymeacoffee.com/voxglitch

FYI Grains currently crashes rack. Fix has been submitted!
Wow that was fast ![]()
Would really love it if Random Sound could stay on the selected “random” sound once I start patching with it. It inspired a cool back and forth in the percussion section between it and another voice, but once I saved and reopened, Random Sound was reset at the “starting point” again and my cool back and forth was gone. Thanks for the creative coding, love these small one like buffer and random sound almost as much as the complex things like Sample Grid and Grains, they all have places to speak in this ecosystem.
Stereo switch down goes up, and up goes down. It might be a simple fix of a faceplate change ![]()
i followed the ml modules switch, up increases in number, down decreases in number
