Iā€™m not sure I understand this question!?

I think you mean"when will it be released?" @Vortico has deliberately not announced a release date. As they say in Jamaica, soon come.

Yes, sorry my English is not very good !

No problem mate. I donā€™t know what your native language is, but Iā€™m betting Iā€™m pretty shit at writing it!

I think the best english ā€œtranslationā€ of what you asked is ā€œWhen is the planned release of Rack V2?ā€ FYI :grinning:

Yes indeed

I swear I read somewhere, and by @vortivo own writings that is was suppose to be this January???

But PLEASE DO NOT take my words for granted, because mostly I take my wishes for reality :stuck_out_tongue:

Wait, weā€™re in February !!!

Well you see what I just did???

Unfortunately Software Development is not the same as cooking a 12" margherita pizza in a conventional oven, that is unless youā€™re coding how to cook a 12" margherita pizza in a conventional oven. It will be ready when itā€™s ready. Patience!

More details can be found here

VCV Rack can be fully considered a DAW itself rather than a ā€œsynthesizer pluginā€, so Rack is a standalone application. However, due to overwhelming user demand, a new product called VCV Rack for DAWs will be available as a 64-bit VST2 plugin for around $99 shortly after Rack v2 is released around Jan-Feb 2020. VST3/AU/AAX/LV2 versions might be released afterwards, but this is not yet confirmed. All Rack v2 plugins will be compatible with the plugin version of Rack. The standalone version of Rack v2 will continue to be free/open-source.
