IN SEARCH OF: Transient audio breakup causes.

I have a new computer for a few months, and it is really nice not to have to budget CPU in Rack.

One problem is that very occasionally audio will stutter for as long as a second, the GUI in rack will freeze. Then things will go on as usual.

This is with the factory install of Windows 10, with the usual DAW optimizations applied, on a Dell Computer.

Asking the group mind: if you’ve had and solved this problem, what was the culprit?

I suppose you have all drivers updated, which graphics card is installed? Or is it on the cpu integrated? how many cores of the cpu uses rack?

Just today I took time to figure out how to make that stop. Disabling the network interfaces solved it for me.
