i have a patch thats hard to keep track of which MIDI knob should be used at any moment in time. I was thinking for each step of the sequencer I’m using, I could have that particular step’s output sent to a module that would display a number corresponding to the column i’m supposed to use on my Midi controller. Would I be able to sequence GLUE or perhaps some other graphic or labelling module to display the number on my screen that corresponds to that particular sequence step?
I often use this one… Is it what you are looking for ? If I remember well, you can connect several to count number more that 9…

interesting! i need it to say a number depending which stage of the sequencer is active, so if stage 3 is active it shows the number 3, not just going in chronological order, but cv addressed
they make a voltmeter that sounds like that…
who is they, do you mean NYSTHI ?
yes
i use txvi or addr-seq for that. the led shows the stepnumber, if you put a cv in. if you quantize it before, you have exact values.
