Different Sounds on Mid and Side

I watched this video tutorial and liked the sounds of 0:18. I wondered: how could you recreate that with Rack? I tried with the VCV M/S module, but I don’t really understand it. Thanks

This is unrelated to mid/side encoding. Simply pan the instruments with a stereo mixer.

a mono drum -> pitch shift -5% -> mixer channel 1, pan left 50%
same mono drum -> pitch shift +5% -> mixer channel 2, pan right 50%
a diffent drum -> mixer channel 3, pan center

NYSTHI STKPitchshifter can be used. one way to make a wide stereo signal.

A delay can be used instead of pitch shift. (Haas effect)
