Anyone else been looking for this once in a lifetime visitor? I managed to see it tonight using binoculars to get through the light pollution of northern England. Pretty awesome.

I’ve been waiting for a cloudless night. We have a thing here where the streetlights are turned off between 1:00 and 3:00 in the morning.

Nice! We’ve just had LED streetlights with bigger “hoods” at the top to reflect the light downwards and it’s made a noticeable difference.
