CMd+Z on AZERTY keyboards

Hi,

First message here, I just started using VCV Rack a few days ago and I find it absolutely amazing.

I noticed several days ago that the Cmd+Z command didn’t work on my French AZERTY keyboard, and today I realized I have to type Cmd+W on my keyboard to undo, which is quite confusing, but can be explained by the differences between the QWERTY and AZERY keyboards. Is there a way to make VCV Rack to understand I am using a AZERTY keyboard ?

By the way, if possilbe, it would be great to be able to use the AZERTY keyboard as a MIDI keyboard

This will be fixed in the upcoming Rack v2.

Hello Seb, and welcome to the community

Just like Ben said, this will be fixed when Rack v2 comes.

However, if you don’t feel like waiting, here is a workaround (since you have an AZERTY i assume you are francophone too, so here’s a link in French  )

Thank you for your answers. I guess I’ll wait until the v2 comes then, since I don’t really look at the keyboard when I type Cmd+Z.

okay i guess
