As it says in the title, i get random cpu spikes in audio-8, even when there’s very few things connected to it. This is probably some issue with my computer, but i would like to know if there’s a way to mitigate it.
Just as a sanity check, is your Audio-8 module set to the same sample rate as in the Engine menu?
yes, i almost always set both of them to 44.1 khz
IIRC the Audio module’s cpu meter is backwards and shows how much CPU is left. So as other modules use more CPU, audio’s meter goes down and when other modules are not working as hard, audio’s meter goes up.
That used to be true, but it isn’t any more.
