AUDIO-8 CPU usage (Mac)

Hi,

im not sure if it is supposed to be like this, but whenever I select “Built in output” in the Audio-8 module on my macs (macbook and imac) the CPU-meter shoots through the roof immediately. See gif: http://recordit.co/x3cPhlG6dL

Is this normal or…? Sorry if this has been discussed already, but i couldnt find it anywhere.
