Would GPD win or win2 be a good portable vcvrack solution? Mainly running 20 to 40 tracks of uncompressed audio in sampler modules, musicalbox2, and not much else, some volume and pitch controls and that’s about it
I’m not really sure, i’ve heard it has terrible heat issues, also the specs i found on the internet :
“processeur Intel Atom x7-Z8750, 4 Go de mémoire vive(RAM) et 64 Go de stockage en eMMC.” Thats seems weak to run Rack.
And note that eMMC hard drives are extremely unrelieable, expect your OS to get corrupted every 6 months on average. So if you get one, make backups and restore points often
