Is there a way to disable stackable inputs manually? (I.e. settings.json or something.)
What for would that be usefull?
To avoid my confusion.
Iām old-fashioned and behind the times.
But if thereās no way to do it, Iāll learn to live with it.

So, is there a way?
Maybe use an older version of VCV Rack that doesnāt feature stackable inputs.
I would just not use them.
And Iām too an old-fashioned guy,
I use the stackable inputs very rarely just
because I donāt remember that they are there.
yes, but wasnāt some UI action changed the allow for stackable inputs? I seem to remember that was the case, and that was why ppl canāt ājust not use themā. But I donāt know the detailsā¦
The keycommand to copy a cable changed indeed. Cause you can now copy cables either from the input or the output end (leaving the other end attached). Used to be only one of those copies existed. Maybe change the established one wasnāt the best move, but also not the end of the world. Easy to get used to, Iāve found.
But yeah the stackable cables seem to not be for everyone. I find it super handy but I can see why some donāt. Indeed you canāt disable it so ādonāt use itā is the best youāll get I guess.
